Hi guys 🙂 in this article, I wil share with you a food recipe created by me 😊!
I’ve been eating tofu for quite some time now, but it’s not untill recently that I created by myself, (inspired by another recipe) a marinated tofu recipe which my entire family and I adore 😍😍 🙂 !
Marinated tofu
Begin by preparing the sauce! There are quite a lot of ingredients but that’s what makes the sauce and taste so special 🙂
Ingredients for the sauce:
- 1 1/2 tbsp. of soja sauce
- 1 tbsp. of sesame oil
- 1 tbsp. of rice vinegar
- 3 tbsp. of water
- 1 tsp. of corn starch
- 2 tbsp. of honey
- 1 tbsp. of ketchup
- 2 tbsp. of sesame seeds
Pour all these ingredients in a bowl and blend untill you get a smooth sauce!
How to prepare the tofu
Get the water out of the tofu by using paper towels and let it rest for a while.
Afterwards cut the tofu into small cubes, triangles. Pour corn starch (it depends how much tofu you have) in a plastic bag and then the tofu. Now shake!
(We usually have 250 g. of tofu so 125 ml. of corn starch)
Drizzle some olive oil in a non-stick frying pan, add the tofu and let it fry untill they are crispy, with a golden crust. Remember to shake gently the tofu, from time to time, just to make sure they do not stick to the pan!

Once the tofu is ready, pour in the sauce, prepared at the beginning and blend! Let the sauce simmer in the tofu so it gets tasty :)!
Serve the tofu with good toppings
I love to eat the tofu together with something else such as vegetables (some ideas: edamame beans, haricots-verts, eggplants…) and brown rice or quinoa! 🙂
