Hi guys! It’s time for a new parisian article! 🙂
In this blog post, I wanted to share some of the most famous filming locations from Emily in Paris, in Paris!😍
I am a huge fan of this series! Everything, from the talented characters to the lovely settings, has truly captured my interest at heart! And, by the way, I can’t wait for season five to come out! 🙂
I have been so fortunate to go to Paris twice, in the last two and a half years, where I also saw many renowned spots where they filmed this lovely series!
Emily in Paris
Emily in Paris is a globally popular fictional series set in Paris, starring Lily Collins as its main character.
This romantic American comedy, available on Netflix, follows aspiring marketing executive Emily Cooper (Lily Collins) as she moves from Chicago to Paris to bring an American perspective to a luxurious French marketing firm.
Popular filming locations
Emily’s neighbourhood
La Place de L’Estrapade
This charming square, (and one of the main filming locations ) in the Latin Quarter, is the central hub for Emily’s parisian life. It’s here where she has her beautiful apartment, which is just a short distance from the Panthéon.
Already at the beginning of the series, you can see Emily arriving in a taxi to her new home.
It was thrilling to see the stunning flat in person from outside and explore the beautiful square surrounding it!😍 I love the fact that there is a beautiful fountain just in the center of the square!

Besides Emily’s apartment, you’ll find Gabriel’s restaurant and the Boulangerie Moderne right nearby—the very spot where Emily famously grabs her first pain au chocolat at the start of the series!😍

Some of Emily’s favourite running spots
While Emily is always on the go, she loves starting her morning with a run through the city before heading to work! Her regular route often takes her to iconic spots like Le Jardin du Luxembourg, or up to Montmartre, where she usually enjoys the stunning view from La Basilique du Sacré-Coeur.

Place de Valois
La Place de Valois is the iconic location for the Savoir (or Agence Grateau) office, making it an essential stop for any fan visiting Paris. The square is located in the heart of Paris, a few steps from the Louvre and from the picturesque Place Colette.
La Place de Valois is also home to the Grand hôtel du Palais Royal and to Bistrot Valois, where Emily and her colleagues have lunch several times.
(I’m sorry I forgot to take photos, you’ll be more surprised when you see it in real life😉)
Other filming locations
Then, of course, there are many other filming locations to take into account.
Here are a few of them:
- Le Jardin du Palays-Royal: It’s here where Emily meets Mindy for the first time
- Café de Flore: Emily visits the iconic café where she meets Thomas, a friendly professor who tells her all about its fascinating history, also mentioning the other famous literary café, Les Deux Magots.
- The Wall of Love: this artistic installation, located in Montmartre, is truly romantic, featuring 612 tiles showing the phrase I love you in 250 languages! It is here that Emily brings Gabriel while he is trying to find the perfect place to propose to Camille.
- The Panthéon: the marvellous Panthéon is another landmark Emily often passes while going to her apartment, meeting friends, or jogging, given also its close proximity to the Place de L’Estrapade.

If you are planning a trip to Paris and, most importantly, you are a fan of Emily in Paris—make sure to visit these amazing places I’ve just written about! Happy exploring! 🙂
