Hey everyone! It’s time to take you on a new Paris adventure! I’ve been to the city of Light and love twice in the last couple of years and fell in love with it straightaway. And that is no wonder!
Now let me tell you why:
- The city is absolutely brimming with beautiful parks. They are perfect for taking a break, and it’s a parisian ritual to grab a crêpe or a pastry and enjoy it right there. A couple of my favourite suggestions are the majestic Le Jardin du Luxembourg and the serene le Jardin des Plantes. (In fact, I’ll be dedicating an entire article to the marvellous gardens later on!)
- I adore walking the streets of Paris—it’s the best way to discover the city’s hidden parts. The architecture keeps you guessing: in one moment, you can find yourself in a very exclusive, grand avenue, and the next moment, you’ve turned a corner into a charming, narrow cobblestone street. What makes the streets so inviting is that they are brimming with cafes. Nearly everywhere you go, you find similar sidewalk settings, with the tables and chairs turned outward to the street, letting you sit, sip your drink, and watch the world go by.
- It’s truly magical walking along La Seine, the heart river of Paris. Many times, I couldn’t help but notice the countless lovelocks placed on the bridges, each one telling a story.
- And let’s not forget about the food! There is nothing better than eating a warm, fresh croissant early in the morning, enjoying an authentic, crusty baguette, and of course, trying all the incredible local cheeses.
Exploring Paris
There are so many different parts of Paris to explore, from admiring La Tour Eiffel up close to climbing La Basilique du Sacré Coeur in Montmartre to see the entire city stretched out before you. Don’t expect to visit Paris in a day! 🙂
Paris is a true Metropolis, and each area possesses its own unique charm and beauty.
But we can’t forget the many imposing landmarks that define the city—and those are exactly what I’m going to discuss now!

Some of my favourite iconic landmarks:
- Tour Eiffel: No discussion of Paris is complete without mentioning the Eiffel Tower (Tour Eiffel). More than just a magnificent landmark, this globally recognized icon represents the height of French culture and industrial innovation. Built for the 1889 World’s Fair, the Tower has served as a testament to French engineering, making the most visited structure in the city.
- Notre-Dame: The Cathedral of Notre-Dame is far more than just a church; it is a profound symbol of French history and Parisian resilience. As the seat of the Archdiocese, it has witnessed centuries of key national events. Even after the fire, this masterpiece of medieval Gothic architecture remains the spiritual and cultural heart of the city.
- Panthéon: The Panthéon stands as a powerful, neoclassical symbol of French heritage and the values of the Republic. Modeled after ancient Roman temples, its grand architectural design, crowned by an iconic dome, makes it instantly recognizable. It’s also a place of science, most famously hosting Foucault’s Pendulum, which beautifully demonstrates the nation’s commitment to intellectual achievement.

La Galerie Vivienne
Next stop: La Galerie Vivienne! And honestly, I’m so glad I made it here! The aesthetic of this beautiful antique galerie is absolutely stunning, and I instantly loved it from the moment I stepped inside.
Location: 48 rue des Petits-Champs, 75002 Paris.
La Galerie Vivienne is one of the most beautiful and elegant covered passages in Paris, and I can only agree with that! In fact, the Galerie Vivienne is a must-see architectural gem, an historic monument, and a nice place to stroll!

Stepping into Galerie Vivienne is like stepping back in time. This stunning 19th- century covered passage has a rich history, dating all the way back to 1823, and it was the place for wealthy Parisians to shop. To this day, you can come here to admire the elegant architecture, the stunning mosaic floors, and browse a fantastic mix of luxury shops, bookstores, and gourmet spots.
Fun fact: it’s owned by the prestigious Academie des beaux-arts!
Cozy, nice cafes
Now, let’s finish nicely with some cafes recommendations! 🙂
Some you may instantly recognize as they are so famous: The two literary cafes—Les Deux Magots and Café de Flore. Both of them are very popular, and you always see people sitting outside, enjoying tea or something to eat. Both are nestled very close together on Boulevard Saint-Germain on the Left Bank of Paris. The two cafes became a popular hub for philosophers and writers in the 20th Century, where they met and discussed their works. The atmosphere inside the cafes is cozy and chic!

Another super nice café, located quite close to the Luxembourg Gardens, is Le Pont Traversé! This is one of my absolute favourite cafes in Paris! The ambience is warm and welcoming, and I really love how they place is decorated—so personal and stylish!
The staff is so nice, and the food is delicious! I ate both breakfast and lunch here, and they also have great gluten free options! For breakfast, I enjoyed delicious scones with a creamy oat latte. Another time, I went for lunch and had a yummy soup. For all the matcha fans out there: I have to mention they carry my favourite brand, Nekohama! 🙂
That’s a wrap on this part of my Paris vlog! I sincerely hope I’ve given you some amazing inspiration and useful info, if you ever visit Paris!😊
