As you stroll along Via Alessandro Volta in Milan, keep a watchful eye; tucked away, you’ll discover Eutopia—a lovely, small boutique café dedicated to quality and health.
I discovered this place two years ago and have been in love with it ever since 🙂 In fact, it’s one of my favourite cafes in town, and I try to go there whenever I can—especially for breakfast!
An Independent, Artisanal Laboratory
Eutopia Milano was born as an independent laboratory focusing on high-quality, organic, homemade, and sugar-free pastries. They use whole-grain flours, raw materials and natural sweeteners. Usually, when my mom and I go there for breakfast, she enjoys the croissant with coconut cream, which is exquisite from her point of view :).
Not every pastry is available every single day, sometimes the artisanal laboratory bakes something else, for example, or they are short on certain ingredients.

Not Just a Café…
While they are mainly an artisanal coffee shop, Eutopia also offers some lunch suggestions, such as avocado toast! I once had lunch there and ordered the avocado toast, which was absolutely delicious! 🙂 I enjoyed every bite of it! They prepare everything to order, and sometimes they change the menu if certain ingredients are unavailable.
A Cozy Retreat on Via Volta
Stepping into Eutopia is like entering a small, cozy retreat where you can unwind and forget for a moment about the city’s hectic pace for a while. Even though the café isn’t very large—it actually hasonly about six tables—this makes the environment feel more personal and atmospheric. Noticing the little things, like hearing and seeing them prepare coffee or tea at the bar, really sends out good vibes—at least for me! 🙂

Flaminia Veronesi curated the artistic side of Eutopia. Everything is born from her imagination; the walls and paintings are creatively decorated in her signature style, featuring vibrant, colourful shapes. It’s thanks to her that the space ha such a dreamy, unique feel!
A Plant-Based friendly Spot
Let’s not forget that Eutopia’s high-quality selection also includes many vegan pastries! Their vegan croissant is exquisite! While the café is not exclusively vegan, they have many vegan options on the menu, including plant-based milk for capuccinos!
Final words…
Whether you are a local, or just passing through Milan, Eutopia is highly recommended—especially if you are in search of vegan, authentic goodies, and an intimate, welcoming environment where you can sip your coffee calmly!
